Safe travels so far. The flight from GSP to D.C. was smooth. When we landed there we saw some snow on the ground and ice on the waterways! We only had about 15 minutes to spare in D.C. and then boarded the plane to Norfolk, VA. The flight time for that was only about 30 minutes in the air, quick! Now we are at the Norfolk Airport and just finished dinner. They have a USO lounge here for active duty military, so we are hanging out on some comfy couches. We have to take a cab from here and go to the Naval base by 2100. We will depart from the naval base at 2320. The flight from there will take about 5 hours and our destination is 4 hours ahead of us. It should be approximately 0845 Wednesday morning when we arrive in The Azores. Not sure of the Internet situation there so I will update you when I can. Have a good night! We love you.
