What's New?

We are loving Colorado! The weather is great and our view is beautiful every morning. Air Force football started this past weekend and we enjoyed our first experience at an Academy game with some friends and great tailgating. It wasn't Clemson but at least it was football. The weather here is really cooling off and you can tell Fall is in the air. Im so excited for cooler weather, candles, outdoor fires, and hot chocolate!
A few weekends ago our friends took us to climb the Incline. It is pretty much a set of railroad ties straight up the side of the mountain! After reaching the top...about an hour after we started...we opted to jog down the Barr Trail instead of walking down the Incline. The trail is slightly downhill most of the way so its much easier to jog than walk. The jogging was fun until I wiped out about half way down and ended up with some road rash and stitches in my knee! I am almost healed now and ready to try it again!

The latest and greatest news is that we have a new addition to our family! It's a puppy. We now have a Black Lab puppy named Drake. He has been some work but a lot of fun so far. He will be great company when Justin has to be gone and hopefully one day, after some training, will be Justin's hunting partner. We can't wait to watch him grow.
